The Capital City Museum is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The City of Frankfort’s Department of Parks & Recreation operates the museum. It is located at 325 Ann Street in downtown Frankfort across Broadway from the Kentucky History Center. The Leslie Morris Park on Fort Hill

The Leslie Morris Park atop Fort Hill features two Civil War forts, the Sullivan House interpretive center, a picnic pavilion, a scenic downtown Frankfort overlook and several hiking trails. The park is open to vehicular traffic year round, daylight to dusk.

Guided tours, for free, are available on the historic sites and are offered based on staff availability. Please reserve your spot on the tours through our online booking software. If you’re interested in reserving use of the Gippy Graham Pavillion, please do so through Parks and Recreation’s booking website, CivicRec.
